I really like Versa-Mark resist (don't know if that's the right name or not). You stamp small images onto glossy c/s, then brayer over with favourite colour of ink and polish it up. Makes great backgrounds. I already have the SU set in your blog candy, but I just wanted to leave a comment because they are important to the writer of the blog!

I love so many different techniques, it is hard to pick just one! :) I think my favorite right now is using Prismacolors & Gamsol! It just has so much potential & is so pretty! My second favorite is the Kissing technique.

Right now my fav. technique is using cuttlebug emobossing folders and heat embossing.

My favorite technique is using Distress Ink re-inkers to create a vintage background for my stamped images. It instantly ages plain white or ivory cardstock beautifully. Otherwise, I enjoy any technique where you would create your own background paper to stamp on (alcohol inks, resist technique, joseph's coat, shaving cream technique, ghosting technique, etc).

Hi! My favorite technique is an oldie but goodie...heat embossing. I haven't stamped for years and when I got back into it a couple of months ago...it seemed embossing isn't the 'big thing' it was back in 'my day'...:)

It's hard to talk about just one. I like the Prismacolors and the blending stumps. I don't have the blending down just yet so, it something I'll just keep working on>

Style of stamping? There are just so many to choose from! I think I would have to say embossing, I just love the look and feel of it!

My favorite technique at the moment is resist. The reason being: I tried figuring it out on my own with no success. I involved my 7 year old, because she's the genius in the family and humiliated myself by trying to show-off my resist stamp knowledge. I contacted other card-makers for help and finally learned how to resist correctly. Now I'll never forget this technique because of all the trouble I went through to learn in - LOL

Besides that, there is so much that can be done using the resist technique. I like its versatality.

My favorite technique right now is Magic Colored Pencil. I finally got all the supplies and tried it out this past weekend. I tried it out on some cute Whipper Snapper animal stamps ~ those stamps are great to use on this technique!

I am amazed by all the techniques and beautiful cards you've done! My favorite technique is watercolors whether its watercolor pencils or stamping with marvy markers and "moving" the color with water and a paint brush.

I love techniques like resist when I can get my fingers all inky and paint with a sponge.

My favourite technique at the mo is also heat embossing (like someone else said). But...sometimes I'm not all that satisfied with the powder...some give excellent results, others are kinda bubbly. Hmm...
Thanks for this chance!

I love using versa mark on dark colours for the tone on tone effect. That stamp set is sooo cute!

My favorite stamping style I'd say is 'cutesy' and since I like instant gratification, the card has got to be quick! heh. I'm still trying to incorporate my punches more, and as always, use up my never-ending stack of paper.

Hi, love the candy. I'm new at stamping so I'd have to say my favourite technique so far that I've learnt is embossing. Thanks for the chance.

Linda,
So glad I found your blog on SS. I've missed seeing your work on the "other site".
Ooops, sorry I am supposed to be posting my favorite technique: that would be altering w/a vintage feel. I love using ink pads to rub on the edges of my cards and paper.

I found your blog through 2Peas - great cards!
My favorite technique in card making right now has to be using the Cuttlebug embossing folders - it's not stamping, per se, but it sure adds fun to the cards!
Also, I'm learning more about watercolor and have enjoyed practicing that technique lately.
